Birmingham & the West Midlands
Cold radiators aren't a boiler fault. They're sludge.
Years of rust and debris settle in the bottom of your radiators and block the flow. We flush the whole system out under pressure and get every radiator hot again — top to bottom.

Watch a power flush happen
This is your heating system. The brown specks are sludge — rust and debris that settle out of the water and choke the bottom of your radiators. Press the button and watch what our machine does to it.
Sludge has settled in the bottom of every radiator. The pump can't push hot water through it, so the bottom half stays cold.
A simplified illustration of the process — but the principle is exactly what happens in your house. Once the water runs clear we add an inhibitor so the sludge doesn't come straight back.
30-second check
Does your system need flushing?
Tick anything that sounds like your heating. Nothing to fill in and no catch — it just tells you where you stand.
What we actually do
A proper flush, not a quick chemical rinse
Our pump pushes clean water through the system at high velocity, in both directions, until what comes out runs clear. Here's the order it happens in.
Full system check
We test every radiator, take temperature readings and find where the blockages actually are before touching anything.
Connect and dose
The pump goes on the system and a cleaning agent circulates to break down rust, sludge and limescale.
Flush each radiator
Radiators are done one at a time, forwards and backwards, so debris is lifted out rather than pushed further in.
Run until clear
The whole system is flushed with fresh water until it runs clean — not until the clock says we're finished.
Protect and test
Inhibitor goes in to stop it coming back, then we retest every radiator with you before we leave.

Why us
Gas Safe engineers who do it properly
Gas Safe registered
Every engineer is on the Gas Safe Register and fully insured. You can ask to see the card at the door — and you should.
25+ years on the tools
From one-bed flats in Digbeth to Victorian semis in Moseley with twenty radiators. Very little surprises us now.
Straight answers
If your problem is a failed pump or a stuck valve rather than sludge, we'll tell you before you spend a penny on a flush.
Lower running costs
A clean system heats faster and holds temperature, so the boiler burns less gas. Savings of up to £420 a year are possible.
Local to the second city
Born in a city built on water
Birmingham has more miles of canal than Venice. We've spent twenty-five years working on the heating systems above them — from the back-to-backs to the new builds in the Jewellery Quarter.

Call and askCommon questions
Things people ask before booking
How long does a power flush take?
Most take between four and eight hours, depending on how many radiators you have and how badly blocked the system is. We'll give you a realistic time when we quote, and we don't leave until the water runs clear.
Will it make a mess in my house?
No. The equipment is sealed and connects directly to your system, and we put protection down wherever we're working. Everything that comes out of your radiators goes into our machine, not onto your carpet.
Do I need a power flush or just a chemical flush?
A chemical flush relies on gravity and your own pump, so at best it shifts loose debris. A power flush uses a high-velocity pump in both directions and actually lifts hardened sludge out. If your radiators are cold at the bottom, a chemical flush usually won't fix it. We'll tell you honestly which one your system needs.
Will it definitely fix my cold radiators?
If the cause is sludge, yes — and that's the vast majority of cases. If we check your system and find the real problem is a failed pump, a stuck valve or a boiler fault, we'll say so before you spend anything on a flush. We'd rather tell you that than take the money.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. £329 +VAT covers up to five radiators, £549 +VAT covers up to ten, and anything larger is quoted before we start. No hourly rate and nothing added at the end.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes — we don't leave until every radiator is running hot and you're happy with the job. All work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and we're fully insured, so you're covered.
Do you cover my part of the West Midlands?
We cover Birmingham and roughly twenty miles around it — Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Smethwick, Oldbury and Coventry included. If you're not sure, ring us and ask.
Do you do boiler repairs as well?
Yes. As well as power flushing we handle boiler servicing, breakdowns and repairs across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Same Gas Safe engineers, same fixed-price approach. We cover all major brands including Worcester, Vaillant and Baxi — we diagnose the issue first, then give you a competitive price before any work starts.
Do you provide landlord gas safety certificates (CP12)?
Yes. We issue CP12 landlord gas safety certificates for domestic and commercial properties, priced by the number of appliances. Our engineers are Gas Safe registered and fully up to date with the new gas tightness test procedure that came into effect on 1 October 2026.
Can you do EPC and electrical certificates too?
Yes. We provide EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates), and electrical certificates including landlord EICRs, EICs, emergency lighting and exit sign testing. All electrical work is carried out by our NAPIT qualified electrician, so it's fully certified. Send us your details through the form and we'll come back with a price.
Do you do full central heating installations?
Yes. We install full central heating systems — combi and tank setups. Tell us how many radiators and bathrooms you have and whether you're after a combi or a tank system, and we'll advise the right setup for your home and quote it up front.
